Cultural investment strategy 2025 — art as a long-term portfolio component
The Board of Directors of Kashmir Limited has approved the 2025 cultural investment strategy, formally positioning the group’s art collection as a strategic long-term portfolio component alongside publishing, media, and hospitality. The strategy reflects the Board’s growing confidence in art as a complementary investment vertical that delivers both financial returns and meaningful cultural contribution.
The 2025 strategy covers acquisition targets across contemporary Polish painting and selective European works, collection management enhancements including upgraded cataloguing and conservation protocols, and the development of exhibition partnerships with institutional partners. The strategy also prioritises artist relationship development, recognising that sustained engagement with emerging talent is essential to building a collection of lasting significance.
Budget allocation for 2025 has been increased to reflect the division’s strong track record and positive independent valuation results. The Board emphasises a continued focus on Polish contemporary art as the collection’s core identity, with selective diversification into broader European contemporary works where exceptional quality and strategic fit are demonstrated.
The approval of a dedicated annual cultural investment strategy marks a further maturation of the division, which has grown from initial exploratory acquisitions in 2022 to a professionally managed programme with established acquisition criteria, institutional relationships, and independent oversight.
