Art collection reaches 200 works — Board reviews collection management infrastructure

Kashmir Limited’s art collection has surpassed 200 works, representing a significant milestone for the Cultural Investments division and confirming the group’s position as a committed collector of contemporary Polish and European art. The collection spans painting, sculpture, and works on paper from emerging and mid-career artists, with a strong emphasis on the Polish contemporary art scene.

The Board has conducted a comprehensive review of the collection management infrastructure to ensure it remains fit for purpose at the current scale. The review covered storage facilities and environmental controls, insurance arrangements and valuations, cataloguing systems and provenance documentation, and conservation protocols for works requiring specialist care.

An independent valuation of the full collection has been scheduled for Q1 2026, providing the Board with an updated assessment of portfolio value and informing operational investment decisions for the year ahead. The Board has also initiated the development of a standardised artist contract framework to ensure consistent professional standards across all future acquisitions.

The 200-work milestone reflects the Cultural Investments division’s disciplined approach to collection building over three years. The Board reaffirms its commitment to growing the collection with a focus on artistic quality and long-term significance, supported by robust institutional relationships and professional management practices.
