ALT.PL distribution subsidiary achieves full operational integration with Altenberg

Kashmir Limited’s Board of Directors has reviewed the operational status of ALT.PL Sp. z o.o., the group’s Polish distribution subsidiary, and confirmed that the company has achieved full operational integration with sister company Altenberg. The milestone, reported at the Board’s quarterly meeting in Larnaca, marks the completion of a strategic initiative approved in the 2024 operational investment framework to establish ALT.PL as a standalone distribution platform serving the group’s publishing operations.

ALT.PL now manages the complete distribution chain for Altenberg’s publishing catalogue, including warehousing, order fulfilment, retail and wholesale distribution, e-commerce operations, and logistics coordination. The integrated model gives the group end-to-end control of the publishing value chain from editorial development through to final delivery, eliminating reliance on third-party distributors and significantly improving both margins and operational agility.

The Board noted that the integration has delivered measurable operational improvements, including faster delivery times, reduced distribution costs, improved inventory management, and enhanced data visibility across the supply chain. These improvements support Altenberg’s ability to respond quickly to market demand and manage its growing catalogue efficiently.
